Behavior Expectations and Responsibilities

The following sections outline forms of behavior that are inappropriate in a university community. These forms of inappropriate behavior have been organized into two groups to help students understand the standards of behavior that are not appropriate. These are Respect for the NDSU Community and Respect for the Protection and Rights of Others. Inappropriate behaviors outlined here are not intended to be exhaustive. Instead, they are intended to assist students avoid conflicts with university policies and other members of the university community. Most students will find that avoiding these inappropriate behaviors will not restrict their activities unnecessarily and will protect the rights and freedoms of everyone in the university community.
